- Do I need to sand between coats?
- If you apply a second coat within 24 hours of the first (while still tacky), sanding is not required. If the first coat has fully cured (past 48 hours), lightly scuff with 220-grit sandpaper before the second coat to ensure adhesion. Always wipe the surface clean with isopropyl alcohol after sanding.
- Is Superclear® Table Top Epoxy food safe?
- Superclear® Table Top 1:1 is manufactured in an FDA-compliant facility. Once fully cured (30 days), the surface is non-reactive and safe for indirect food contact. It is not intended for direct food contact surfaces such as cutting boards or serving platters where food is cut or stored directly on the surface.
