The clarity on this resin is unreal. I've tried four different brands for my geode art and this is the only one that doesn't fight my pigments. The colors pop exactly the way they look in the cup.

Why Designer Art Resin?
Pigments don't lie — but your epoxy can. A carrier with yellow cast kills the vibrancy of every color you mix into it. Designer Art Resin starts optically clear and stays that way: no interference with your mica, no mudding of your alcohol ink, no hidden tint under your metallic pigment.
The low-viscosity formula keeps up with fluid art movement without fighting your technique. It flows into cells, drags into geode lines, and holds lacing and veining when you want it to.
UV-stabilized from day one, so the piece you photograph in the studio is the piece you or your buyer lives with for years.
Rich pigment and mica pours with crystal-clear depth and definition.
A compatible carrier that lets ink colors run true — no mudding.
Fluid cells and lacing on a non-yellowing, optically clear base.
Small-scale castings with vivid embedded color and clean clarity.
Layer pigments, foils, and embedded objects in one clear pour.
Abstract and pour painting on any flat substrate.
| Superclear® Designer Art Resin | Standard Art Epoxy | |
|---|---|---|
| Color neutrality | Optically clear — zero yellow cast | Often slightly amber-tinted |
| UV resistance | UV-stabilized — colors stay vibrant for years | Yellowing dulls pigment within months |
| Pigment compatibility | Mica, alcohol ink, acrylic, metallic, liquid pigment | Variable — may react with certain inks |
| Viscosity | Low — flows naturally with technique | Often too thick or too runny for fluid work |
| Mix ratio | Simple 1:1 by volume | May require by weight — measuring error risk |
| Finish | Glass-smooth, high gloss | May have orange peel or soft spots |

I do alcohol ink petri art and the compatibility with this formula is perfect. No weird reactions, cells form beautifully, and the surface sets completely smooth.
I sell my pieces at art fairs and online. Switched to Superclear Art Resin 6 months ago and zero customer returns for yellowing. My older pieces that used a competitor's resin are already going amber.
Clean 1:1 ratio, easy to mix, and the color results with mica powder are stunning. My metallic pours have never looked better.
Finally an art resin that's clear enough for my taste. I do fine detail work and any tint in the carrier ruins pieces. This one is as clear as water.
Used for resin jewelry and the clarity in small molds is perfect. Every piece pops out clean, no shrinkage issues, no cloudiness. My Etsy sales have been great since switching.
