This epoxy offers incredible versatility and is perfect for large castings such as river tables. With a 2:1 volume ratio, Liquid Glass® Deep Pour Epoxy can be poured from .5″ up to 4″ depending on volume and ambient temperature.

Deep Pour 24 Hour Epoxy

Ideal for small to medium-sized castings, Deep Pour 24 Hour Epoxy is primarily used for coasters, charcuterie boards, and serving trays. This formulation can be poured from .25″ up to 1″. We do not recommend exceeding more than 2 Quarts (half gallon) per pour with this product.

Factors to Consider When Choosing Deep Pour Epoxy

Pour Depth and Cure Time

Pour depth and cure time are critical when selecting the right epoxy. Liquid Glass® Deep Pour Epoxy is suitable for thicker pours, while Deep Pour 24 Hour Epoxy is designed for slightly thinner pours in comparison.

Versatility and Applications

Consider the timeline and application of the project you’re working on when choosing the right epoxy. Some projects require a greater volume than 2 Quarts and depths greater than 1”, for projects like this we would recommend Liquid Glass® Deep Pour Epoxy, while others may need to be finished quicker for a client or a gift for a special occasion that is right around the corner, for projects like these we always recommend Deep Pour 24 Hour Epoxy.

Ease of Use

Make sure you select an epoxy that’s user-friendly and has clear instructions. Both our formulations are easy to mix and apply, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

Would this work to fill finger holes in a bowling, around 1 to 1-1/2″ diameter and 2.5″ deep?

    Reply
    • Hey Kenneth! Yes, our liquid glass deep pour epoxy would be perfect for that! That forrmulation is great for anything between 0.5″ and 4″ thick, as long as your ambient temperatures and volume can account for it.

  • I need to sand out few imperfections, after I sand them out I plan to apply a thin coat over my hole project.
What is the best brush or roller to use to achieve the best results?
Keep in mind this is a large area, I poured cornhole boards with 1/4″ deep pour.

    • Hey Ron! You can use any kind of foam roller or paintbrush to spread the epoxy out over your surface. Some people prefer to use a gloved hand or a squeegee, too! It’s really up to personal preference.
